Tirion Eilir Haf Jenkins

Born in Borneo and raised in Australia and Hong Kong, Tirion is a photographer, yoga teacher and keen geographer now living and working on the Surf Coast, VIC. From her work with the mental health charity Mind Cymru, she is interested in mindfulness and wellbeing and how water environments can enhance these experiences. Her photography explores blue spaces and surf cultures around the world.

She has been commissioned to create photography content for international brands such as Red Equipment, Wallien, Nokia and Stoned Immaculate and has been published by magazines such as C-Heads. Her work has also been featured as album cover artwork (Radicalis 2015) and exhibited in spaces such as Main in Santa Monica (Creative Reverb 2015), West Wharf Gallery (2019), Plug Coffee Roasters (2019) and Overseas Apparel (2019).

Tirion studied Geography at UCL from 2012 to 2016 with a year at UCLA. She is currently undertaking a PhD at Cardiff University School of Geography and Planning, where she is researching the link between mental health resilience and winter surfing in Wales. She is a qualified beach lifeguard and spends her summers working for the RNLI. She is based in Melbourne and is open to bookings and collaborations locally and beyond.
